     S. Tester of Lennox Head obviously hasn't seen the ECOfishers website - yet. The modern philosophy concerning recreational fishing is that catch, torture and release fishing is cruel. Some European countries and many Canadian Provinces prohibit "catch and release fishing," because the communities considers it cruel. And their parliaments have ennacted laws to outlaw the practise.
So who will defend Testers rights to practise his "catch and release," when the extreme Green animal rights lobby targets him and his pastime? ECOfishers will of course. We represent recreational fishers right across the state. We will defend your rights, even AFTER hell freezes over. That's why recreational fishers are joining ECOfishers. They recognize quality representation when they see it! More so when they get it. We represent spearfishers, catch and consume fishers, competition fishers, Club fishers, family fishers, catch and release fishers, non-Club fishers and  non-competition fishers etc. Even some non-catch fishers! There is room for us all in ECOfishers. We don't discriminate. We don't judge fishers. We just represent them and defend their rights.
Personally, I eat what I keep. I have thousands of mates in the above categories. That doesn't make them any less of a fisher or a person, for that matter. And they don't disrespect me because I eat what I keep. There's room for us all in ECOfishers - always has been and always will be while I'm CEO of the largest recreational fishing group in the state.
Anyway, I get none of the essential Omega 3 oils and vitamins from a photo. And photos taste terrible - even with tartare sauce or a generous squeeze of lemon!
I am a non-indigenous subsistence fisher and very proud of it. So is Mr Tester proud of his achievements. There's room for us all in ECOfishers.  Won't you join us?
