Do the Greenies now want fishing families slugged with a carbon tax?
Do fish fart?  Do they fart methane? Think of all those herbivores, like Luderick and Red Morwong. The Marine Park Authority may be moving towards a fishing permit, for recrational fishers, using their marine parks. After all fishing is classified as an extractive operation by the MPA. So are they going to charge surfers an extraction fee for removing sand from their marine parks, when surfers leave the beach with sand on their feet? It could add up to a considerable volume of sand, considering the popularity of surfing state wide.
Are we living in a "nanny state," or what?

Might explain those little bubbles from the sea floor. How about carbon tax on NPA for all those farting ferals they  breed. They now want to charge Fishers to use of "their" tidal waters by locking them out during the night and demanding they buy a key if they wish to enter and don't forget the permit to hold fishing competitions in "their" national parks. Where will it all end. My guess the next State election.

We've had a number of enquiries about fish farting. One young ECOfisher wants to know if all the bubbles in the wash around the rocks are fart bubbles? Another has actually seen bubbles rising in rockpools inhabited by small fish. And one of our very young western NSW ECOfishers has observed big bubbles at his favourite fishing hole. He wants to know if they would be Murray Cod farts.
We sent him some literature on Snake Necked Tortoises.
If methane is soluble, it wouldn't make bubbles - would it?
