The Honourable Verity Firth, BA, LLB MP
Minister for Climate Change, Environment and Water
Level 33 Governor Macquarie Tower
1 Farrer Place
Sydney, NSW, 2000

Dear Minister,

As part of the Moreton Bay Marine Park Zoning Plan review, the Queensland Government has allocated $1 million towards researching, planning and constructing trial artificial reefs for use by recreational fishers. This trial project will run in parallel with the Moreton Bay Marine Park Zoning Plan review.

Will your Department consider a similar project with funding towards researching, planning and constructing artificial reefs within marine parks in NSW, especially as NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI) is deploying artificial reefs in estuaries and has plans for artificial reefs off the coast of NSW?

Yours sincerely

Four months later and still no reply. She must have been "paralaysed" by climate change.

Oops. My mistake. See Firth's response titled " The Honourable Verity Firth MP," elsewhere on this page. It would be so convenient if like topics could be linked in sequence. It would make it so much easier for fishers to follow.
