Fish Kills

Appears the Tweed River has escaped the massive fish kill of the Richmond River.
Much of the credit for this must go to Robert Quirk and his cane farming friends. It appears that the practices they have in place work which is more than can be said for the Richmond River farmers.
However having said this one must also note the lack of interest shown by the conservation groups. Dead are possibly more than four months of commercial and recreational harvest. Solution not "lock it up and throw away the key" so the greens have no answers and are not interested.
