BONDI: 20/12/07. A large Grey Nurse shark was found dead, in the shark nets off Bondi. Shark nets are deployed off Newcastle, Sydney and Wollongong beaches. They are worked by contractors and funded by NSW Fisheries. There hasn't been a fatal shark attack off those metropolitan beaches, since the sharh meshing program was instituted, many years ago. CEO.
