ECOfishers CEO Ken Thurlow has, after a meeting with DPI secured an agreement related to grey nurse sanctuary zoning. There will be no change to the present sanctuary zoning for Recreational Fishers.
Commercial fishers will be affected by changes at Fish Rock, Green Island and Magic Point. They will not be applied until May next year.
Ken will post more on this site early next week
