THANKS FOR CAMPAIGN.

DON PAGE MLA (BALLINA) has sent a message of "THANKS," to ECOfishers. He thanks us for our support and campaign, noting an excellent result in all coastal seats. And besides expressing their appreciation, they undertake to, "take it right up to" Labor, over the next four years. The Nationals say they won 13 of the 20 seats they contested. Now if the Libs had done the same, we would have access to so called "sanctuary zones," for negligible impacts family recreational fishers, today.
We are still anticipating a "thank you," note from Labor's Iemma too. After all, the bumper stickers did say "Vote Labor/Greens."
Duncan Gay too, (Shadow Minister for Fisheries) has forwarded a "thank you," and acknowledgement for the contribution ECOfishers made, especially in the seats of Tweed, Ballina and Port Stephens. Duncan says, "the writing is on the wall for Labor/Greens and they know it." Nice to get an acknowledgement and thank you.....sometimes.
Another day of Labor and another political scandal. Wanna be, Paul Gibson, the proposed Minister for sport, has been dropped from the Cabinet, pending yet another Police enquiry into misbehaviour. Fiery Kopenberg may be behind it all.
