Current Fisheries Minister Macdonald, was on the Tweed today (Monday 5/3/07) with Labor member, "Noddy" Newell, in the background. "Noddy," because everything Macdonald said, Newell nodded! No one knows what Macdonald announced, but he sure was a bit touchy about the Grey Nurse expose.
He then travelled to Byron Bay, for lunch with the Greens! (There are your preferences, Macca) The most interesting thing about that little "green" luncheon was, not one member of the local Labor Party branch was to be seen. WHY? Just Greens and a vegetarian lunch! How boring!

Seems the local Byron Shire councilors are stating to wake up to the bipartite councils systems they must now operate in. Thats to say the local shire council and the aboriginal council systems, which are both as powerfull as each other now thanks to Cohen.
As if Cohen doesn't have enough trouble with court cases at the moment he is now being exposed for the manipulations he facilitated over a decade ago.
aka, Arakwal Debacle.....
No wonder the Byron Shire Council wasn't sacked and ALP administrators appointed...the Greens are already controlled by the ALP
the mass exodus of membership from the ALP...including Byron Shire councilors who no longer desire any association with the pirate crew, could account for the lack of local luncheon buddies for Macca.....guess none of their mates in Sydney wanted to attend...whats the point there is no recreation allowed in Byron anymore... thanks to Labour.....
Just one injunction....$600 bucks and a day trip to the supreme court.....

TWEED  ECOFISHER:  The seat of Tweed is still "marginal." Labor's Noddy Newell DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE RETURNED. Tweed is now officially a "deprived socio-economic area." And this has all happened during Labor's Noddy Newell's two continual terms representing the area! Thanks, Labor! So folks, the choice is yours - more of the same OR let's FIX fishing and NSW!

EXCEPTIONALLY WELL DONE, TWEED & NORTHERN RIVERS ECOFISHERS. Labor has been given he flick, after eight long years and now the electorate  has been   returned to the people! It just goes to show, it can be done and it has been done. We know how to do it. And Newcastle and Lake Macquarie electorates are going to preferences....because of the Newcastle ECOfishers and Port Stephens ECOfishers campaigns. And so too is the seat of Port Stephens! Well done all. A great campaign. All we have to do now is work smarter!
