GOING......GOING......GONE      Tackle shop closes.      Byron  Bay.
Beach hauling is not banned in the Cape Byron Political Park according to my Zoning Plan. The "7 Mile Beach," at Lennox Head is still open to ocean and beach hauling. But it wouldn't matter if it was closed. Commercial fishers from southern Qld and the Tweed, still net the mullet and baitfish as soon as they clear Labor's marine park at Brunswick Heads.                   CEO.

LENNOX  HEAD  BAIT  SHOP  UNDER  THE  PUMP.
The proprietor of Lennox Bait & Tackle, has also suffered a significant drop (50%) in trade in the eight months since Labor zoned its Cape Byron Political Park. His figures are compared with the same period from the year before. He is quite anxious about his future, suffering depression, and really doesn't know what to do. He has enquired about compensation and has been told he is not entitled to any. Now that's our Labor party looking after small business.            CEO.

.......and another local "Bait & Tackle Shop," in Ballina, closes its doors forever, at the end of closing on Monday, Xmas Eve, 2007. That is the third in the area in about 12 months. And all because of Labor/ Greens political park. Jobs lost, businesses going belly-up, families disrupted, services lost to the community, etc etc. Great ideas these marine parks the government imposes upon the communities!
