"Fluffy," the Grey Nurse shark, adopted by the extreme anti-fishing lobby, the government funded NCC (Natyre Conservation Council) has been sighted on the south coast. She doesn't look very well, according to ECOfishers divers. She is thin, scrawny, got barnacles and marine growth on her dorsal side and a series of shark bite marks, along her flanks, behind the caudal fins. Actually, Fluffy is not a female at all. She is a he. But the NCC extremists wouldn't know the difference! Not only do they not know how many Grey Nurse sharks there are in the east coast population, they think "claspers" are kitchen/barbeque tongs!
Perhaps the extremists campaign to adopt Fluffy, ran out of puff, or fluff and funds, because Fluffy surely looks poorly.
ECOfishers will try to secure a current photo of Fluffy, to show you all how poorly he looks, before he begins his annual winter holiday migration to Queensland's Gold Coast. In fact ECOfishers will attempt to track his holiday migration northward along the coast. We know exactly where to look for Fluffy, because he only ever stops over in those pink zones, the greenies drew on marine park diagrams. Then they told Fluffy where they were. World's best science for sure!

Fluffy, the anti fishing extremists, adopted Grey Nurse shark sure has a long swim between Jervis Bays so called sanctuary zones and Port Stephens pink areas. We wonder does he go via Lord Howe Island sanctuary zones? Such a long haul between feeds might account for his poor condition? Or maybe he has reached his use-by date and his days of snatching hooked fish from NSW recreational fishers are about to come to an end? It always was a lazy way to get a feed and in some juridisdictions it would be regarded as outright theft!

Or it may even be a serious case of animal neglect by the extremist anti-fishing NCC. A case for the RSPCA perhaps?
