CURIOUS? The SURFACE water temperature at Maria Island has allegedly increased by 2 degrees C, in 66 years. And because warmer water is less dense, it always constitutes the surface layers. Red (Banded) Morwong are a sedentary demersal species, living exclusively on the bottom. They never visit the surface. So, how does warmer water, (surface layers in the water column) affect the growth rates of an exclusively demersal specie? Perhaps we should ask the extreme green anti-fishing group? They know everything about fishing and fish populations etc, even thought they don't participate themselves!

The study of growth rings in a cross section of trees (timber) is called "dendrochronology."

Scientists from NASA are now reporting the surface temperature on planet Mars has increased by 2 degrees C in the last 20 years. Is that Martian global warming? Then there must be people up there!
