Yep, we only targetted 2 Labor seats in 2007, about Labor/Greenies marine parks. And Labor lost both of them in that election. They were Labor's seats of Tweed and Port Stephens, so we are hoping for a repeat performance!
ECOfishers - making people part of the solution. Can you afford not to be part of the comprehensive victory for NSW recreational fishers? Why not join and share in the celebrations?  We've even got "pink parties" organised in certain sections of Labor/Greenies "old marine parks," after the election!

One of our ECOfisher members from the eastern suburbs of Sydney, informs us the greenies have dozens of posters plastered around Sydney's eastern suburbs. The message is, "To fish you need fish! " Well, typically, they got that all wrong too! Some of us fish with lures, hard and soft bodied (surface and demersal), jigs, spinners nippers, pipis, grubs, worms, greenies, maggots and a whole host of other spineless invertebrates. And our fly fishing members fish with fur and feather. So you don't need fish to fish!
The same ECOfisher member is busy removing this litter on the basis that it is illegal, apart from being incorrect and  visual pollution. It probably won't worry the greenies though. They've got plenty of money. They are funded by the Labor government with our taxes!

FAIRNESS FOR FAMILIES - WHAT A JOKE!
Labor's premier with the yank accent and "pocket book" style politics, belatedly wants to cap her price on our recreational fishing licences. Not near good enough! Under lousy Labor we are paying more and more for our licences and getting fewer and fewer places in which to fish. (labor/green marine parks)
For more than a decade the Labor government has treated NSW fishing families with arrogant indifference and utter disdain. Labor has marginalised NSW fishing families and demonised the commercial industry.
She should be giving each of us a $20 refund in "real change," for our wallets.

ECOfishers colleague, Phil Ingram, from Anglers Action Group, wrote in February, to all major and minor political parties, w ith a seven point questionnaire, concerning their policies on recreational fishing. His list included the Coalition, Labor, Greens Australian Democrats, Shooters and Christian Democvrats. By Sunday March 20th one week out from our very important election he has only received responses from the Coalition aand Labor. Surprisingly, the Greens and Shooters, who have both had plenty to say concerning recreational fishing,  apparently don't each have  a policy - they just talk about it!  The Coalition policy has been widely circulated and accepted, so here is Labor's belated response. (More cleaning tables - give me a break! And they have the temerity to claim the Minister's ACoRF is independent!! Independent of real grass roots fishers perhaps. Who does Stinking Clark represent? Time for a "real change," from this political nonsense.)

Current predictions from the ABC experts today is that in the Lower House (Legislative Assembly) Labor will only win 19 seats while the Coalition is right on track to win 68! We allwonder will the ABC get this right?
