............AND, the Coalition's policy already contains at least nine (9) of the key recommendations from the Upper House Inquiry, into NSW Recreational Fishing.
As the peak body representing NSW recreational fishing families, ECOfishers, with our 20,000 members across the state, are pleased and proud to have been involved in the development of this science and evidence based policy. We now eagerly look forward to assisting the incoming government with its implementation. A better and fairer deal for all - and our marine environment. Thanks to ECOfishers. BUT..... first we all must make the change of government a reality. And fishing folk, that is entirely up to you! Do you want more of the same? More lies? More lock-outs? More scandals? More stuff-ups?  Or do you want "real change?" Think about it!  ECOfishers will always be here representing you, your interests and getting the best deal for you and the resource, that is scientifically possible.

Didn't you just love the coverage of the launch of the Coalition's "Recrational Fishing Policy", by NBN 9? I'll bet the greenies are squirming!
Prime 7 News will cover it tomorrow night Wednesday 23rd February,. More fun and games.
What's this "scientific consensus," nonsense the greenies are still nagging about, with the extra zero they added to the number of so called "scientists?"

GREENIES ACKNOWLEDGE THEY WERE WRONG & ECOFISHERS WERE ALWAYS RIGHT!
Prime 7 TV News tonight (North Coast) ran more of the ECOfishers response to the Coalitions "Recreational Fishing Policy." By way of providing "balance," tonight they also interviewed a local head greenie. He had no trouble acknowledging the greens had always had it wrong and that land based issues were far more important causes to a healthy fishery, than fishing! Slow learners those melons. What the community understands immediately, it takes the greenies years to comprehend!
Again, it just goes to show. If you take the argument up to these extremists, and use science and logic, you can't fail! And all true blue ECOfishers have been doing it for years.
Of course, this backdown could be one of mere convenience. These "stuntmen" too recognise that they are going to have to eat large doses of humble pie when the inevitable change of government occurs on March 26th. And if they want anything done, (or get any of our taxpayed dollars in funding) they are going to have to work with the new government!  And somehow I think Barry O'Farrell has a long, long memory! If he doesn't we can always rely on our statewide ECOfishers membership to remind him.
Anyone for dessert? The pie is only green on the outside. Inside it's a rich yellow!

                                  NSW FISHERS DON'T TRUST LABOR/GREENS
                                  LIES, LOCK-OUTS, SCANDALS & STUFF-UPS!

                                            (With an emphasis on TRUST.)

........when voting do as the greenies say. Vote early and vote often! Tomorrow we will get the government we deserve!
Labor's premier with the yank accent and the "pocket book," style politics (Nobody's girrrrl) is now pleading with green voters to give Labor their second preference! Still crawling to the greenies and grovelling to the NSW electorate. Vote for a real change.

ECOfishers has  had a big "thank-you," from the Coalition to those of you who maintained the rage, who kept the fight alive in the media, who organized meetings and rallies with scientists, to inform the community of the fraudelent science,  to those who constantly took the greenies on in the media, to those who constantly wrote letters to the editors and tackled the issue head on, to those who never gave up or fell by the wayside when the heat got too much. Well done champs. You're the real and true victors in this sensational win.
As for the rest, you have an awful lot to be thahkful for - thankful there are ECOfishers out there to do the hard yards for you!
There have always been drones and workers. ECOfishers is blessed with a high proportion of true, blue workers!
                                              GREAT OUTCOME ECOFISHERS !

Those few still belly-aching about the election avalanche can also blame ABC TV. They have a banner saying "Think National."  It worked !

STOP PRESS.  Shadow Minister for Fisheries, Duncan Gay MLC, has just been sworn in as the Minister for Roads & Ports.  No problems. Same thoroughbred, though a champion female jockey and weight is correct! And as recreational fishers, we all use "roads," to go fishing, so we shall be maintaining our working relationship. Cathryn Cusack (DECC&W) has been dumped. Robyn Parker MLA, (Member for Maitland) has been elevated to the new ministry as the new Minister for Environment & Heritage. Good news for the environment and fishers!
  Q.  Will the greenies continue to get their substantial funding from our new government - our taxes???

  A.  What do you think and why???
