G'day ACTAngler,
Good to see that Cameron has decided to head your way to talk to you guys. Did he offer or was he asked? I hope the mpa are paying him well, from what I hear none of the meetings (focus groups) he has run down here have been smooth affairs.? Sad

While we are on the subject of meetings, you may like to mark this one in your diary:

When: Friday 31 March 2006 - 5:30pm

Where: Kangaroo Rugby League Club Queanbeyan

Speakers: Garry Nairn(Federal Liberal Member), Andrew Constance(State Liberal Member) and Jack Tait(Spokesman Coastal Rights Association).

Come along this Friday and hear some facts that Cameron will not tell you at his meeting.

All Welcome.

I'm hoping to hitch a ride with Jack so see you there.

Dave...

If Jack Tait is representing ECOfishers, you will all get an informed, intelligent and entertaining presentation. Facts NOT fiction, is the hallmark of all ECOfishers presentations. Get along there. You wont be disappointed!  They weren't in Batemans Bay or Narooma! Go ECOfishers!   Tarki.

I thought Jack Tait was with the Coastal Rights Association.  Is he also linked to ECOfishers?  Can someone please email me (actangler@bigpond.com) his phone number or email address?  I want to contact him about handing out flyers for the Tuesday meeting at his meeting.

ACT ANGLER;   At your "focus group" meeting, ask to see the site specific science that justifies any so called "sanctuary zone," in the Batemans Bay Park. And if and when you get an answer, please post it immediately. The community of the Cape Byron Political Park, have been waiting for years for an answer to the same question and still haven't had a reply! Oh. By the way. Don't forget to attend the "preservationist group," focus meeting too. They are public forums you know!
As for Jack Tait, he will probably be nominated for life membership of ECOfishers for the work he has done for the local community and ECOfishers which is now a community organization.  Tarki.

It's only the one meeting, just a general informations session for anyone interested.  Cameron said he would run it similar to the focus group meeting agenda from down the coast (though I hope someone takes official notes this time...).  I haven't invited any local green groups but probably should  Roll Eyes

I wasn't having a go at Jack, just didn't know he was involved in both.  I'll introduce myself to him on Friday and invite him to the Tuesday meeting.

We are all on the same side. Its just a matter of who is in the forwards and who is is the backs. Thats why halfbacks like Tarki have two bob each way!
