ECOFISHERS MEET WITH TWEED COMMERCIAL FISHERS.

ECOfishers called a meeting and met with Tweed commercial fishers concerning Labor's Tweed AFA. And we have agreed to have more meetings. One of the concerns to come out of the meeting was the story that Labor's Tweed AFA, is a backdoor way of shutting down the Tweed fishing and associated marine tourist industries. By doing so, the Gillard government can then divert fresh water from the upper reaches of the Tweed, to their Labor mates in Qld.
Apparently this is a much more environmentally friendly option than more Gold Coast desalination plants, to service the booming Gold Coast population. Frightening, isn't it?
