Really, who cares? Do you know what effect a knob of garlic has on a vampire? Well robust and objective science has the same effect on green extremists!
These extremists can't function effectively without our hard earned taxes. It's all under review! Thanks Barry. Who funded that absolute nonsense called "The Torn Blue Fringe?"  We taxpayers did! Tha NCA & NCC attracted about $1 million annually, from the Labor /Green government

Now if Acorf should also disappear and be replaced by  truly recreational/ commercial fishing representation then we would really know fishers are being listened too. Barry we need to hear the demise of Labor's self appointed Acorp!

60 MINUTES - Sunday April 17th. MARINE PARKS DON'T WORK! (Well we knew that! They just ban fishing.)
An email from Jo Townsend, producer at 60 MINUTES, advising ECOfishers, they are airing a segment this Sunday which shows, and oysters prove it, that Labor/Greens marine parks don't work. Will certainly be worth a gecko!

NEW STUDY: A new study shows Red (Banded) Morwong may be, subject to the implications of climate change. Red (Banded) Morwong are a sedentary herbivorous species, occasionally found on inshore coastal reefs. They comprise a mere 0.01% of the recreational harvest across the state, usually taken by spearfishers.
Now watch and wait for the greenies to try to apply these findings of a sedentary reef dwelling species, to our staple stocks of migratory species! These greenies are masters of misinformation and misrepresentation!

The government has rolled back the new re-zonings hurriedly introduced by the Labor/Green government, for their Solitary Is and Jervis Bay marine parks, just prior to the March election. This cynical exercise was sen by the community as a desperate move inthe dying days of a doomed government to shore up support among their extreme green anti-fishing supporters. This policy was widely advertised by the Coalition pre-election. And the NSW electorate voted overwhelminly to support it. It wasn't a landslide victory for the Coalition. It was a bloody avalanche!
The predictable bleatings from the green extremist anti-fishing minority, will fall on deaf ears, as far as ECOfishers are concerned. For their plaintive bleatings won't change a thing. The people have spoken!
ZONINGS IN BOTH SOLITARY IS & JERVIS BAY PARKS NOW REVERT TO 2002 CONFIGURATIONS & PERCENTAGES. Great news for fishers. Great news for the community. Great news for the resource! Conservation thru' sustainable use - ECOfishers!

ECOfishers, the voice of NSW recreational fishers and their families, started this "questioning campaign," way back in 2000. It was then we started to question the so called "science," behind Labor/Greens marine parks.
ECOfishers described the marine parks then, as based upon "shonky science and rubbery data."  And it's all on the public record!
Now academics, marine scientists and fisheries biologists have investigated our claims thoroughly and are queing up to support ECOfishers. These are local academics, local marine scientists and local fisheries biologists and local researchers, who have studied the marine park process thoroughly.
One such academic, Associate Professor John Harris, after his study and investigation of the marine park so called "science,"  now says to the Labor/Green Marine Park Authority, "Cease using populist, simplistic fisheries closures as a sop to public opinion based on outdated publicity and poor science. In their place, support a thorough ,open assessment of the real issues threatening marine ecosystems."
Now isn't that what ECOfishers have been saying for years? And the greenies still think these mickey mouse marine parks are terrestrial parks in water! Poor buggers. There is none so blind as those who will not see - or listen!
