iS IT ONLY ABORIGINAL FISHING THAT HAS A, "CULTURAL HISTORY?" Or is this a stepping stone to recognizing non-aboriginal fishing also, has a "cultural history?" We could make it so! What do you reckon?

One has to ask the difference between aboriginal culture fishing and cultural fishing from early European settlement. Does this mean that Aboriginal fishers have to use fishing methods before European settlement or this is another MacDonald dreamtime performance?
Appears to me another attempt from MacDonalds farm to separate and conquer recreational fishers.

221 years of non-indigenous fishing, ought count for some "cultural" recognition. We all know the government's Marine Park Authority recognizes indigenous cultural fishing and places no restrictions on their fishing activities in government marine parks. Cosy yet curious arrangements. I am waiting to take my indigenous mates fishing in a government sanctuary zone where I will only be an observer, while they do all the fishing. Later we share the catch. Cosy for sure.
No OO. It doesn't mean they have to use traditional fishing methods. In fact indigenous fishers didn't have the means or skills to get to any offshore sites - despite what the greeenies may claim! Can you imagine them getting out to Cook Is in a bark canoe? Getting there would be one thing. Getting back would be even less possible.
