Are there more guns than fishing rods in NSW?
At the last 2007 state election, the Shooters Party recorded 105,000 votes, while the Fishing Party recorded 54,000.
And we are continually told by those who would and should know, there are one million recreational fishers in NSW.

Licensed to fish and licensed to shoot. Not all recreational fishers are entitled to vote.

If you include the Police, security and armourguard then yes I would say that there are more guns then fishing rods in NSW.

Let's just focus on "recreational use," (and exclude Bikies!) shall we?
We understand the Shooters Party now has two members in the Upper House (Legislative Council) and the Fishing Party doesn't have any.
