     ECOfishers got the same info.They fingerprinted the DNA of some tropical Clown Fish and noted their dispersal far and wide in the Coral Sea. This basically proves, they claim, that marine protected areas work as a reservoir for the dispersal of other species. It proves nothing for NSW marine parks. Recreational fishers don't target tropical Clown Fish! That's the domain of the aquarium trade. So we sent that message back to the clown who sent it to us!

Fishing World Magazine has it up on their new website. No doubt this will also appear in John Newberry's next column along with a claim that this again proves marine parks are the greatest ever gift to civilization and a final blow to 'extreme anti-marine park groups' !

     What is actually stirring up the marine park debate is the lies, distortions, misrepresentations and pure political spin, from the Marine Park Authority and extreme green groups like the NPA. But as we continually say, if fishers DO NOTHING, by way of response, then NOTHING WILL CHANGE! And that means more marine parks and more locked-up, locked-out so called sanctuary zones.
    Recreational fishers, through indolence and apathy, allow these green groups, to get away with murder, because fishers don't respond, in a meaningful way. Folks, it is absolutely no use whatsoever, discussing these issues at you local Club meeting and doing nothing POSITIVE about it! It is no use crying in your beer over the impacts of government imposed marine parks, if you're not prepared to do anything POSITIVE about it! Discussing and crying wont change anything! JOINING ECOFISHERS WILL! You need us to help you,  counter them! And we need you, to help us, help you. JOIN ECOFISHERS - BECOME PART OF THE SOLUTION - NOT A PART OF THE PROBLEM!
    While fishers do nothing - the greens get their marine parks - more and more of them!

       Fishers, you must put your case before the community! The greens are doing it all the time and you don't even respond! You're being robbed blind because you don't reply. You are being walked all over by greedy greenies. Your rights are being stripped off you and seemingly, you don't care! If you don't know how to respond, or feel inadequate to do so, then join ECOfishers and we will respond for you and on your behalf. But for goodness sake don't simply do nothing! That is a coward's attitude. Think of the future. A total fishing ban!  Is that what you want to leave for your kids and future generations? That is really what the greens secret agenda is. Can you live with that?
          THE FUTURE IS HERE. IT IS NOW! IT IS TIME TO JOIN AND SUPPORT ECOFISHERS. THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF US OUT THERE. BECOME A PART OF THE SOLUTION. DON"T REMAIN A PART OF THE PROBLEM! For the future depends on us!

ecofishers the octopus. it wont work. tentacles everywhere. the public are green. they know the only way to save our decimated marine resources and dwindling fish stocks is to ban all forms of fishing which is totally a cruel blood sport. marine parks are the only way to resurrect our abused marine environment so life can surge back. ban fishing and more marine parks. save the planet. save the fish from ecofishers public enemy no.1

     Crikey! We hought you had literally been washed away and drowned by the wealth of science on our website. There is enough scientific data here on our ECOfishers website, for you to take anything other than a purely subjective view of the serious short comings of NSW government / Greens marine parks. They are expensive environmental duds! You've been conned! Solid marine science will always be preferred to green myths and ideology! That's what ECOfishers is here for. That's what we are promoting. And the public are loving it! So get over it or get with it!
     PS. Octopus cannot be taken from any rock platform in NSW. ECOfishers is built by the fishing community, on the rock. And yes, we are here to stay! So again, get over it or get with it!

Who is ECOfishers debating over the Torn Blue Fringe? We will debate the author, Paul Winn  or The NPA's Nicky Hammond, and both together if they want, or anyone else who wants to defend it! ECOfishers offer is to debate it anywhere, anytime. It will be more than Torn when ECOfishers is finished with it, We are going to "rip it up,"  and then publicly shred it, scientifically, environmentally, socially and economically. Right in front of them and the recreational fishing public.  We are passionate about our rights. We are passionate about our fishing. We are prepared to stand up publicly and do plenty about it. And we are passionate about ECOfishers, the voice of NSW recreational fishers. It was ECOfishers who first started this marine park debate in the public arena and we won't be letting it go until, we get a fair, just, equitable and satisfactory scientifically justified solution, for NSW recreational fishing families.
