The Ark gave Bligh a real broadside today. Great rally of 50+ boats and right through the centre of the city. The good ship "Anna" will view on all tv stations (they were at the rally in numbers) tonight and also numerous radio stations that have interviewed Soba representatives during, before and after the event.
The "pollies" that attended left with a clear calling of what Soba members require to be activated
to secure their vote and were confronted with demands that were both scientific and sensible.
Go the Ark Go! Think I glimpsed the white flag being unfoiled on the good ship "Anna".
Great work Chris , Damien and crew another well organised rally!

Yes once the LNP got there hands on the "science" behind these decisions and reviewed them of the 109 documents made available 1 had merit ! to Moreton Bay written as a thesis by a University student !  Shocked Shocked Shocked

This was after the ALP blocked a motion to make public these documents in parliment.

Bligh can go down with the ship white flag or not !  Cool

Read Bob Kearney's papers. www.ecofishers.com  There ain't no science behind the creation of Marine Parks. They are tools used by governments to buy the green vote. They are purely and simply political parks.
Until now the governments knew Recreational Fishers would hold one protest and forget.
Times are a changin! Fishers are no longer prepared to sacrifice their "right to fish'' to the  radical green agenda.

Congratulations to SOBA and ECOfishers representatives who accepted the invitation. ECOfishers even made the Qld TV News!! Great work fellas. That's what we are all about, "Conservation thru' sustainable use. Making people part of the solution." Well done Damo, Ch ris and company. You blokes sure generated some hot media. It even made the NSW TV News!
PS Merv for an Academy Award nomination! What an act! What an ECOfisher! And the greenies were having their stunt rally, on February 29th. Su sorry we all missed it! And it didn't even make the TV!

Did the Ark strike a snag? 31 shipping containers of fertilizer and a diesel spill in their marine park! Boy, watch the phyto plankton and the zostera beds grow now! Autumn growth.
