Now, even a politician ought understand that. Ms Tebbutt's partner, Anthony Albanese, is also a Federal Labor politician. That really is keeping it in the family.

24/4/09. To date, ECOfishers still hasn't had a response from Minister for government marine parks, and Deputy Premier, Carmel Tebbutt. ECOfishers wrote to Ms Tebbutt, on 11/1/09, as the results of our South West Rocks rally. More than three months later and still no acknowledgement or reply, we have now put the matter in the hands of the local member to pursue, on behalf of the local community. We shall keep you all psted.

TORN BLUE FRINGE REVISITED:  MEDIA INTERVIEWS ECOFISHERS:  (29/6/09)
Prime News, (Chn 7) 6pm tonight 29/6/09, interviews ECOfishers Director, Maurie Britten, about the future of the greenies biassed and pseudo scientific "Torn Blue Fringe."  "It must be shredded," says Maurie.
It is yet another example of the NSW government sacrificing fishers long term security, for a short term gain, with the Greens.
                TONIGHT - 6pm.  Prime News.

Nice one Maurie! What was Nikki Hammond of the NPA, rabbiting on about? We couldn't understand her on the phone and on the TV at the same time. What have whales got to do with government marine parks?

Good common logical thinking Maurie, with a scientific background unlike the unscientific waffle of the beautiful Nicky Hammond. If as reported, the report is on Tebbett's desk will it take her as long to make a decision on the Marine Parks as it does to answer a letter. Everybody is sick of the standard reply "at this point of time". Problem is so much was promised at the last NSW state election.
