The NPA is calling for the establishment of the new BUNDJALUNG Marine Park which appears to extend from Lennox Head (Joining the Cape Byron Political Park) to Yamba in the south, including the Clarence River. Remember, it is Labor government policy that any National Park or Nature Reserve in a marine park automatically becomes so called "sanctuary zone."
So folks, there is an awful lot there to lose now. How is the levels of apathy at the moment?

Major con job these marine parks. Truly they are "political parks."  Fortunately, informed recreational fishers understand the attempted hoodwinking and ae able to alert the community. Thank goodness for that.

Hmmmm. We had our ECOfishers staff do a quick inspection of 6 fish shops and two Co-ops today and no one could find an undersized fish of any variety, on display. And these people know their fish and legal lengths. This exercise took place at the invitation of and was accompanied by, a photographer/journalist.  Perhaps it was all another myth.
